Compassionate Care for Every Season of Motherhood and Every Chapter of Life
“Maternal mental health does not exist in isolation.
When one parent is struggling, the whole system feels it.
I now offer postpartum couples therapy and paternal support as part of
a family-centered approach to care.”
Angie Seech, PhD, LPC, PMH-C, ADHD-CCSP
Hi, I’m Angie — I help mothers, partners, and couples who feel burned out, disconnected, or overstimulated reconnect with themselves and each other. Through a compassionate, nervous-system-informed approach, we quiet the inner critic, honor your capacity, and help you come back to who you are beneath the many roles you carry.
Parenthood changes everyone — not just the person who gives birth. I understand the overwhelm that comes with balancing your own needs, your relationships, and the relentless demands of caring. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care — helping you feel supported, understood, and more at ease in your own skin. With advanced training in maternal mental health (Perinatal Mental Health Certified), ADHD (Certified ADHD Clinical Services Provider), and psychology (Doctorate in Cognitive Psychology), I support mothers, partners, and couples in moving from survival mode toward steadier connection and self-understanding. My work weaves nervous system awareness, self-compassion, and an appreciation for how differently each mind works — including ADHD and neurodivergence — so you can feel grounded, capable, connected, and more like yourself again.

My Approach to Therapy
At the heart of my work is a person-centered approach that honors your individuality, history, worldview, and needs. I believe you are the expert on your own life and my role is to walk alongside you, helping you to explore your story, identify patterns, and uncover what’s working and what needs care.
I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS) with tools for softening self-criticism, reducing perfectionism, and fostering self-compassion. My goal is to help you connect with your authentic self — the part of you that is wise, self-loving, and capable of creating a life filled with balance, joy, and fulfillment.
"Parents sit at the emotional center of a family. When they feel steady and supported, everyone benefits."
Who I Help
I work with mothers who feel like they’re holding it all together on the outside while quietly falling apart on the inside. Many of my clients describe feeling overstimulated, exhausted, or disconnected from who they used to be. Some are navigating postpartum changes or the identity shifts of motherhood; others are mothers with or without ADHD who constantly battle burnout, perfectionism, and emotional overload. All are capable, caring, and deeply self-aware.
I also work with partners and couples who find that the stress of parenting, the mental load, neurodivergence, and/or shifting identities have created distance or tension in their relationships. Together, we explore patterns of communication, unmet needs, and ways to reconnect with empathy and understanding.
Whether you’re parenting a neurodivergent child, healing from loss, or simply longing to feel like yourself again, therapy can help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and begin to reconnect with your needs, your body, and your sense of self.

Individual Therapy for Mothers and Partners
A supportive space to process challenges, reduce self-criticism, and build practical tools for emotional and physical wellness and self-trust.
Postpartum Couples Therapy
The transition to parenthood is one of the biggest relationship shifts a couple can experience. I provide guidance for couples navigating communication struggles, sleep deprivation, changes in intimacy, differing parenting styles, resentment or withdrawal, feeling unseen or unappreciated, and other life transitions.
Maternal Support Groups
Bringing mothers together for connection, social support, and meaningful learning is one of my greatest passions.
You don’t have to do this alone.
You deserve to wake up without dread and feel steady, even when life is loud. Having space to breathe and care for yourself without guilt is not out of reach. If you want to feel grounded, present, and like yourself again, I’d love to help you get there.
